Congrats! It's going to feel really surreal once everything is said and done!

The letter of employment should be okay along with a pay stub, also provide contact information for the employer just in case. When my husband and I attended his landing interview, we weren't asked for anything except for my husband's passport. However we did bring proof of common address, pay stubs, two pieces of ID (driver's license and health card) as well as a copy of all correspondence we had received from CIC (AOR, AIP, DM & Landing Letter). We weren't asked for any of it. It's always great to be prepared just to be safe though.

As for your possessions, I don't think you'd need any of it. My husband and I, who lived here throughout the process and have been living in an apartment, were not asked any questions about our belongings nor were we asked to declare them. I think that since you've applied inland they would know that you have belongings here.

Congratulations once again! Relax, the landing interview is the easiest/quickest part! :)
Thank you so much, I was however referring to all of my possessions that I have stored in the USA - do I need to provide a detailed list of what I will be eventually landing with at border - at our landing interview? Is there a specific form required? Thanks in advance.
( update ) called our immigration rep. - we are not required to bring our list of belongings that we will land with...just wanted to share this in case anyone else wanted to know.

Congrats to everyone receiving great news !

hello kaira1, bring everything requested in the landing letter and don't forget your lucky smile! As for the speed ticket, do not paranoi!!!! It is just a speed ticket and I believe it is already paid. this happens to everybody once in a while and is not considered a crime!!!
good luck for your landing :)

Just an update: still have not landed yet for my common-law (currently AIP). Can someone please help me with this question?

My common-law went to a Japanese agency and filled out taxes for 2012 and 2013. We've been common-law since July 2012. The Japanese agency told her she needs to fill it out as "single" because she is not landed yet.

Now this can affect her and also my taxes. I'm the only one with income and I would get more tax back if it was filled out as common-law instead of single.

I am about to do my taxes for 2012 and 2013 now and planning to fill out as common law. Any advice for this guys?

That sounds like bad advice to me, since a person does NOT need to land to be common-law; they are completely separate issues!

Filing as single when she (and you also) are in fact common-law is tax fraud (as Rob_TO will undoubtedly confirm).
