For those who exceeded past 9 months for Spousal Sponsorship first stage approval

Here is CPC-mississauga email address CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca

Use subject Application past processing times.
Include your UCI number in the email.

DO NOT SEND THIS SAME INQUIRY MORE THAN ONCE
it will cause a delay in your application.

But it's a good idea for those who past the 9 months mark.

If a few people send email it will draw their attention.

What If I haven't past 9 months but SIN and Medicare is expired already? Can we still email them

Hello everyone, I'm from Montreal, It's been a roller coaster ride for me, my documents (Medicare,SIN) is gonna expire this month but I haven't receive anything yet from the Immigration, I wasn't working for like already 10 months because I don't have any document that I can work since my last work permit is expired plus I'm also not working to my previous employer anymore it means I am not earning money, this is a really long wait for me I thought I can received any answers anytime soon but this long wait is crazy, hay I hope they,ex working on my papers already

Hey jayshe25,
I completely understand your feeling, My situation is likewise and I am also August applicant. it is hard to stay at home and counting the days, weeks, months... without being able earning money. It needs to be a strong couple. I was not used to not working and now without earning money I feel like a huge blues, I feel so useless and am worried of how to explain these long months of doing nothing to my (hopefully) future employer. i really hope they pick up the files soon and send out the work permit at the first stage.

Hang in there!! our time will come :)

Congratulations to all who have received approvals, have landed or have received their PR cards!

Hubby has been an official PR for a month and a bit now! We're super excited to get his card in the mail as we've already planned a trip to Turkey to see his family in August. Super pumped!

I'm hoping the reduced waiting time for PR cards applies to us because I'm checking the mail like crazy!

:)

Hello all,

I hope you are all doing well. I have seen that a lot of the 2013ers have gotten their DM and I congratulate all of you.

After getting AIP in November I still haven't heard back from CIC and I am getting so anxious and I keep thinking something went wrong and they are going to deny me, etc. I don't understand why it is taking so much longer for my application to go through... Is it because I already have a visa? Am I low priority? Are they still background checking? I called the agency a few times and they weren't particularly helpful. All they could tell me was that it looks like my application is complete. It's been 15 months now since I applied and I am slowly losing my patience. :'(

Someone PLEASE tell us you got AIP this week!!!!
Really hope they start working again!

Hello guys!
Just figured I'd come by for a little checkup. I finished my medicals and did the lab tests last Friday, so I'm hoping to hear back from them so I know when I can land. Hope everything's going well with you all, and congratulations to all of you who landed and so on! :)

Crazy busy with work, and now on the big move to Edmonton, which should be quite interesting! :)

Hey guys I just thought of something maybe they're slowing down because it's coming on to summer and the visa offices are very busy around that time and they tend too focus all their attention on tourist visas......I could be wrong but I did notice around this time everything always slow down except visitors visas. Hope to hear some good news soon!! Stay strong guys!!

Since february though? :P In the case of study permit, I dont think they send admission letters that early. As in my case it was april when I got a reply from school... and that was an early admission. As for tourist visa, it makes sense usually you need to apply 3 months in advance. but the delay started all the way back in feb. :( honestly we have no idea what the officers are doing.

edit: i said feb because of my GCMS notes, its been sitting in CPC-M registry since first week of feb

It's been what, 2 months? 10 weeks since the files were transferred from Vegreville to Missisauga

How has no one received AIP / DM ...or ANYTHING from the Mississauga office?

Are they training the Mississauga employees on how to process this? i just dont get it...

has anyone heard anything???

Wait, so what is happening? They are transferring files from Vegreville to Mississauga? Why? What if files get lost? Ahhh, I am freaking out!

OK, so I read up on it (I am a little bit out of the loop..). I guess my application will remain in Vegreville as it is being processed since November. But why is it not being finalized? Maybe they are just abandoning the old office and not processing old files. Haha :'(.

I wish I knew what was going on up there. It's just so frustrating.
