I got my AIP and first Stage DM on Feb 17, 2014 and They ask for Medical, PCC from back home -
Medical is done and still waiting for PCC which i applied through BLS canada- any clue how long does it take to get it?
- Do still get any interview other than landing interview during stage 2 processing

- So during landing interview do they still ask for proof regarding staying together or relationship stuff like that

About proof ..get ur and ur wife bills or banks or credit cards statement ..just to prove them u r staying together on the same address
About Landing interview ..not to worried because they always ask for 3 common question ..good luck 8)

About proof ..get ur and ur wife bills or banks or credit cards statement ..just to prove them u r staying together on the same address

I put Walkin application in submission type coz i applied at the BLS canada office, then i put passport application in application type then reference number then DOB the security code

Whenever I tried to track my PCC application which I applied of Feb 24, 2014- It keeps saying "Kindly Enter Valid Security Code"

I applied in brampton office

No i didnt send anything with the application when i got aip they ask for pcc and medical and told me that i can apply for owp.. I did medical on feb 26, 2014 and applied for pcc on feb 24, 2014 through bls canada- brampton office- so still waiting for pcc

If u wanna track ur PCC status then log in to www.bls canada.com ...Use ur PCC Ref. number issued by BLS CANADA And ur Passport number ..good luck

Hi guys! so close to the end I still have questions!!

question: Can they still reject you at landing interview? on which grounds?
How long till Montreal will contact me, approx?

I Do have a little problem, in my country, married woman add the husband's last name to hers.
In my case I did the modification and in my Peruvian DNI (National ID) and my driver'S license (peruvian)
appears hubby's last name (and in any other document from my country too)
Only thing I havent update is my passport cuz I will have had to get a new one and it takes time so I didn't
wanted it to interfer with CIC. But when Im gonna renew my passport its gonna automaticly appear! (passport gets
ruled by DNI names)

I was wondering, whats gonna happen? Cuz CIC ask to take my passport to landing, and my passport says my maiden name
but next year when Ill renew it, it will say my married name. Not sure then how would it work?
Maybe CIC will understand and if I bring all my other peruvian documents they will use that name?

It is important for me (and the way i was raised) to keep hubbys last name at least in Canada documents (quebec doesnt accept it!)

Otherwise, I will like to change my passport name now but means waiting for new passport which is aprox 45 days..
what if landing comes first???

hello MaxLet,

i understand that it is quiet a risk even if you still have to wait for your PCC and it might take another week or 2 and then CIC will need a few time to give you the landing date.
If you think that you 'll get the new passport in time, then do it, in the other case take all evidence with you and explain it to the CIC officer as you have done it here in your post.

I am sure it will turn out well! Perhaps you could give CIC a call and check with them?

Hi Harmin. Only my medicals received show up on my ecas. Ive submitted PCC too upfront but it wont show on ecas.

From what I understand, nothing will show up until your ecas shows your application as processing. And then I assume it takes awhile even after that. I just got AIP almost two weeks ago but my medical hasn't shown up on ecas. But when I called CIC I was told it has been received.

Ecas is very slow to update. If you're worried you can call CIC and they might be able to tell you if they've received it or not.

Harmin, I just checked my eCAS and it says "Application received on April 2 2013" haha and I got DM on Tuesday!..

Call CIC and an agent will inform you better!
