I agree that there language is vague, but this seems pretty clear:
A spouse or a child of an eligible B.C. resident may also be deemed a resident provided that an application for permanent residence status has been accepted for processing by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), and the application remains active.

Tough to argue that this means AOR, right?

AOR sounds just right, but they refused to process MSP for us before DM :(

Ugh. Silly Nova Scotia health care. I called when my hubby got the email that said he was approved for an OWP and the woman (who was snappy and rude with me over the phone to begin with) said she'd send out forms for us to fill out. It's been a little over two weeks and we still have nothing. I'm so glad people are paid ridiculous amounts of money to be rude to clients over the phone and then promptly not do their jobs correctly.

Hey Mrs Canuck! Hubby and I are living in Nova Scotia as well. Were you aware that in Nova Scotia you can get a health card simply by showing you applied for a sponsorship process. Hubby has had his health card since we applied in late July. No need to wait until AIP! Just thought you'd like to know :)

They must not advertise that to the general public as it's nowhere on their website under `eligibility'.

there is only one dr I Halifax that does the health checks and he told us when we put the app in...I got mine when I applied as well

Can you advise, how to check status after receiving AIP with a fingerprint request. Can check the status from spouse client ID through sponsorship option. How can i check the status for the sponsored person?

Wonderful news! That's excellent! Is yours really the 25th?! Mine says 26th, I wonder if they would do two days in a row?! Can you update my landing date on spreadsheet?

So happy for you ;D
