Yes, just as charmainefrances said.

Only once and for 3 months. The lady who helped me told me that after that 3 months.. keep all the medical receipts until she gets an OWP or any status (not implied status) and we can reimburse them.

I told them she applied for PR inside Canada, nothing else.

Thank you for the information, i will keep this in my file. :)

hello! She can only extend once... that's the 3 months.. She needs a valid work permit after the 3 month period or pray for AIP and OWP soon...or else she won't be covered.

Thank you kababayan charmainefrances

Guri...thanks so much for keeping up with the spreadsheet. It's great having the organized visual!

guys we are the last set of inland applicants that cpc-v will process now all inland apps goes to cpc-m I wonder if this means that processing times will significantly decrease.

Well, unless CPC-V sent a truckload of applications from their mountain of backlog, I don't think it will help those that already have applications buried there. Those that are now being sent to CPC-M, basically may have an empty desk to land on, so don't be too surprised if Jan 2014 applicants pass up some of us late 2013 applicants. Or...they'll be lumped on top of the outland applications that CPC-M already had, in which case...who knows!

Having said that, it seems like a positive move by CIC in general.

yea cpc-v has alot of catching up to do and we do know that cpc-m takes only one month to approve the sponsor so I would not be surprised like u said if 2014 aplicants starts getting good news in the next few weeks or months.

How did you know that you are the last set of inland applicants in cpc-v?

The one month approval of sponsor is one of the reasons why outland applications are processed faster. That has nothing to do with the CPC-M workload at all.
