This is amazing......did an April 5th person get their AIP today? I must have missed that......who was it?

I missed that too marylou. I think it was a mistake, if not please let me know as I am an April applicant as well...

Yes AIP official letter sent as an attachment via email - we were both emailed seperately, mine saying I was approved as sponsor and his saying he met the requirements for sponsorhip/waiting on meds, police, etc. before final decision. His also stated that he had been approved for OWP and it would be mailed to him.

I'm not sure if he will have to cross the border to activate the OWP, maybe a letter will come in the envelope with it explaining what to do? He is here on implied status off of a post graduate work permit, so he already has a SIN and has been working the whole time the application has been in so I don't think anything will change once he gets the OWP paper.

No, he doesn't have to cross the border to activate the OWP.
There is an expiry date on the temporary SIN card. Though I'm not sure, if the expiry date on the OWP is different from the one of his current card, He maybe needs to go to Service Canada with the OWP and ask them to update the date of expiry of his temporary SIN.

I almost had a heart attack when I read that hehe but I think it was a mistake from the user, I haven't heard anything either.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident
status as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.

In order to continue processing your application in Canada further information is required. You
must complete/submit the following information to the Case Processing Centre:
[X] As part of this application process, you are required to provide a set of your fingerprints.
Please check the following CIC website for further details:
or contact the Call Centre, toll free, at 1-888-242-2100. Please take this letter to a service provider and
arrange to have your fingerprints taken as soon as possible.

My Questions - Is this AIP
They have two option of fingerprint ( on paper or Electronical) which one should i choose
Having chosen electronic one what should i send as a proof to Case processing centre

No, not yet. Mrs_Canuck and I are the first two users in the 2013 spreadsheet with applications submitted in April 1st and 2nd 2013, we haven't heard anything yet.
