+1 for that!JHWife2011 said:He is my gift everyday. Love that man.
thank you. And I agree with everything you said. Its just this entire process is filled with so many unknowns that it plays with your head. One minute you feel positive and confident, then 2 minutes later I'm bawling my eyes out.Ponga said:Since your husband has already demonstrated that he is a man of character and kept his composure when first questioned by CBSA, that can only work to his/your advantage. Add to that the fact that CBSA has to know that removing a person with an Inland application, especially one so far along in the process, can truly jeopardize the application reaching completion. Even though that may typically be of little, if any, concern to CBSA, your husband has already been shown some leniency regarding whatever their REAL process is for those in his situation.
Otherwise...why would they have allowed him to remain in the first place?!?!
As hard as it is...focus on what you want, NOT what you don't want.

Agree! I mean Last night when that letter came, I stumbled on my words, I couldn't even think I just bawled at the thought of not having that man in my arms everyday, not having to sleep beside every night, not having him to get into silly arguments with....I'm blessed one way or another that I know.JLynn1987 said:+1 for that!
Seriously though, as draining as this process is, we are all SO fortunate to be with our partners while we wait it out. I can't imagine spending these past 8 months apart.
Yes we are..That's why I always try to think positive and be thankful for everything although I do have my fair share of ranting & cursing this mad long stressful process lolJLynn1987 said:+1 for that!

One quick question...JHWife2011 said:true true
EXACTLY!!! It was sent via regular old snail mail and not to mention it was barely sealed!Ponga said:One quick question...
How was the letter delivered?
If it was just sent regular mail, you have to wonder what happens if Canada Post were to lose the letter...
and the intended recipient never knew about it, until it truly was too late!?!?!? ???
I'm sorry to hear that Line.a. And they won't send it again until February 19th, right? You can still apply for jobs, in the meantime. Just explain that your OWP is in the mail. Hopefully you'll have it before they'd need you to start.Line.a said:Still no OWP for me, it's been a month now!
YIKES!!!JHWife2011 said:EXACTLY!!! It was sent via regular old snail mail and not to mention it was barely sealed!
Its no one in particular that we see. We just stand in line at the bonding window, the guy behind the glass takes my husbands card they gave us scans it, initials the paper we have, then marks the next date to come in and off we go.Ponga said:YIKES!!!
Ok...one last question...
Since your husband has been reporting to CBSA for his scheduled meetings, can't you contact whoever he has been seeing there and find out what happened?
The person, or persons, that he's been seeing HAS to know that he has AIP.
Ahhh...the `guy behind the glass'. Replace `glass' with `curtain' and then change your name to Dorothy...put on some red shoes and click your heels together 3 times and say...JHWife2011 said:Its no one in particular that we see.
