FYI guys a December 17th, 2013 applicant just posted on the Inland Petitioners FB page that she received AIP.

Actually, a Jan. 2nd applicant just received SA... That's crazy...

Yahoooo!!!!

We got our Interview date today for May 1, 2015 in Halifax! (We just move here on April 1 and it took 3 phone calls to CIC to have the address properly changed) but we did it and now we're all SET!

See spreadsheet for our timeline (Sept. 11 applicants)

Hi Everyone, I have a question, maybe someone has similar experience...
Our application was received on November 5th, 2013. I am the sponsor sponsoring my common-law spouse.
I received Sponsorship Approval this week on Monday. But my spouse hasn't received the AIP yet... Based on comments here in the forum - SAs and AIPs are often sent together or with a short delay (day or two)
Anyone else experienced this delay? Could it be because we are not married and they are doing a more thorough review? Medical was sent with application and we got email saying that it was still good...

Also, are here any other not married common-laws? what is your experience with the process/interview etc..

Any response will be greatly appreciated... Thanks...
And have a nice day everyone :)

Congrats! :)

Could you please let me know when did you receive DM? Thanks

Hey Sophiee

I dont think we have yet.... This is our letter

"We are pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be

finalized at your next interview that has been scheduled for:

(May 1, 2015) at (1:30) PM"

...... then it lists all the things we have to bring.... I checked out status online and it's still saying processing

That's great news! Congrats! Did you receive an AIP letter and no DM letter? Just curious if you received anything other than the landing interview.

Thanks! We got both parts of the AIP and a request for medicals which we've already done. Just no DM Letter....

Yes, unless they decide to "skip" the second part of January and process February-March instead... I liked it more when it was slower but at least predictable. I guess I just can't be pleased :-[

Someone on the spreadsheet has SA/AIP from April 17th. But today is the 16th. Is the CIC going so slow now that time itself is warping?
