Is there any applicants that are out-of-status but manage to apply online for work permit after AIP? I just wanted to clarify if you can do it because someone posted it here that they can actually apply online even he is out of status. :
I don't know if that would work, because a person is still `technically' out of status, even after AIP. Those that have submitted paper OWP applications seem to get theirs, but I think the online application doesn't really allow for an `out of status' answer regarding current status. Any new OWP issued under the pilot program? Last received that I saw (on the spread sheet), was Jan.23, 2015.

Are you able to log in to eCAS? You wrote before that you sent your app on September 6, it was received on September 12 and started processing on September 21 or 30.Ass2014 said:

They may have stopped updating that sheet as people on the FB group received OWP in the past couple days, some of them were from February.2013CJF said:

Hi Ponga, I might send my OWP application without AIP and attach my general information and file number. I don't want to wait for AIP to apply for Open Work Permit. It takes ages :S. Someone in Facebook group have an AIP and will try to apply online. He is out of Status will check if he's able to apply online or not. :'(Ponga said:
