I have heard that even when you change it with CIC, and it is changed online AND at the call center, that quite often times mailings STILL go to the original address on file. Which has resulted in ppl having to do their whole application from the beginning, since they missed the deadline for sending in more info, or for their interviews, etc.Jamesdavid3 said:Quick question....
How does the CIC normally contact you asking for additional forms or newer Medical/Police Checks as well as sending you the Work Permit after Stage 1 is complete?
The issue is because of the stupid amount of processing times, myself and my partner might be moving around to different locations (still living together) and we cant be forced to live in the same place just because the CIC are taking so long to process...
I can sign onto E-CAS and change my mailing address to my Laywers, so anything they do request will be sent there just in case I miss anything?
Try to avoid it if you can. You can change it online and with the call center to be safe, but that is clearly still no guarantee.
No worries though. Aren't you just planning to leave your partner as soon as possible after you get your PR (cuz I have seen you post about it before...)?
