I know!!! I shouldn't, especially with my applications specific "issues" which I assume will delay it, but regardless, I am getting my hopes up for THIS week.

I will be calling the CIC line today to inquire about updates. Next step probably contact local MP after that.

Sorry for repeating...I think my question went unnoticed in the wake of the good news

Question...

One of the countries my husband (applicant) required a police check for, Costa Rica, is on the list of countries that you need to wait until they contact you to get the check done. We still haven't been contacted for this, but in the interests of speeding up the process, we want to start the process of getting it done.

Would not having this hold up AIP or just DM??

I *still* have a love/hate relationship with the call centre. Last week they said Vancouver landing office timeline was a month for the landing interview. Today they said 5-6. I never feel like I can get a straight answer.
