You can also use this email from CIC to finally appease the BC MSP folks that have been giving you grief. If you apply today, you will be covered as of Jan 1, 2015 (2 months + the balance of the month that you apply).

May 2013. They requested "additional" documents in Mar 2014 which were documents included in the original application. i actually began to think they lost my app totally.

Doesn't get coverage start right away for her? I though coverage starts 3 months after you've been in BC.
