U have to attend ur landing date no one can do that for u but ur husband can send u ur pr card when it arrives in the mail. Only problem with that is there is no sure date of when it will arrive. U can get a good estimate of when u will receive ur pr card but if the estimate is wrong u may be stuck out of the country longer than expected. U can also apply for a travel document at the Canadian embassy in ur home country but some people have reported the timeline for that being just as long if not longer than pr card.

Try calling CIC now since they are past the March Applicants, now you can ask them why you didn't receive a message as they are into April applicants now.

They have no idea, they just tell you whats on ecas....
He said wait because its not so late and i dont see any injustice done to your app.....
Its better to wait, its second time in a year i called em, becz i find it useless.

Im thinking to book the air ticket to go back my country at the end of January, but Im scared that I wont get my PR card on time. As my PR application is in processing right now, I dont know when I receive the DM and when my landing day is. My question is: Is it possible if I can leave Canada without PR card ( but of course I must attend the landing interview )? During the time that Im not in Canada, can my husband receive it, and send the card to my country for me, in order to go back here?

Im hoping for the best and get the PR before go there, but I got the work permit already looking for job, so I think, coming back having a job here won't have problem in immigration , we r in the same process time for what I read on yours, I will call CIC soon and ask for advice if I can leave , but I just wanna be positive and my boyfriend is coming with me, spending the holidays in my home country is going to be the best present.

Let me know if you get some news soon.

Yestersday I read some information about leaving without the Pr card, it says that I must apply as a vistor visa under permenent resident, the visa is valid only 1 time, so Im thinking to do that after I landed.

The other way they suggest is I need to mail the PR office and ask for the quick PR, but I dont think it works because there will be a lot of case in urgent as well. And I dont want to push them as I know they are work hard.

My husband will leave with me too, but he will come back earlier than me cuz he has to work. I will stay with my parents until I get sick of it hahaha. I just want to make sure everything is ok b4 I leave cuz I really dont want to take a risk.

I didnt apply for OWP with my application cuz I thought I dont really need it right away since I have to attend college full time. But as you said, I should apply one in case I got stuck in inmigrant gate, right?

Dont worry, I will report if I get news, pray it comes soon, I miss my parents alot (.

we haven't got DM. We have been waiting for DM since February 29 when we received AIP. According to FOSS notes our bfd it's October 25th.. hopefully by then we will get it. They asked for police certificate and we sent it on march so, its been almost 8 months and still no answer..

Woh it sucks heh, how come it takes 8 months since you got AIP??? Since I read your post, my hope is gone cuz I have been waiting only 9 days ( and I think it is long enough ). Hope you re done very soon.

oh well what can i say, immigration works in mysterious ways, idk whats the hold up, every time i call them they say they have everything they need and that they are just doing background checks.. i guess we are not as lucky as everyone else here

In my case, neither of us receive by email. We got letters 3 days after ecas is changed the status. We got 2 letters, one for me and one for my husband, the content are almost the same
