@ goldmoon

Exactly, we all know that we have to be very patient from day we sent the application, but when Immigration don't give me any feedback and I finally call them and they say nothing, I start to feel really bad :(

did anyone do a change.org petition thing?

*sounion goes to check out how to do it*

Okay, if anyone wants to take out there frustration through clicking, I set up a change.org petition. Not sure what it could do, but it beats the hell out of complaining to my wife! :P

also, let me know if i need to change anything, as i can edit it.

I'm in. Good call. Can't hurt!

Hello everyone. One member created this petition for CIC to process our applications on Change.org We don't know how much this will help, but there's no harm in trying. Just thought I should share.

I just got off the phone with CIC to inquire about some additional documents that i sent, but i also asked about the Strike and she said the strike does not affect the vegreville office and whats taking long time is that October had too many applications that were sent. doesnt sound to be true but there is nothing we can do but wait

yeah, figured can't focus solely on the strike as a reason to petition, so i phrased as a petition against the delays. too many oct apps? really? I mean really? can't believe that to be honest.

And again...I just checked CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Last update: June 19, 2013 but they are still "Working on applications received on October 8, 2012" errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

WHY didn't they change from 6 months to 8 months in this point?

to keep hope alive of course! though it's crushing at this point.

I found out who's manning the Call Centre.

When you move you have to update your drivers license address. Ive moved 3 times since my license was last renewed in 2010 and I had to get a little address admendment "stickers" each time with the new address to stick on the back of my card.

You should change your address with *everything* when you move. The only exception is if you change provinces for less than 2-3 months then you dont change your healthcare.

- Someone who has moved 7 times in the last 10 years.

Thank you I knew that, it says in the ICBC website :) however that wasn't my question, anyways I appreciate the response.

Hello everyone, congrats to those who got AIP, OWP, and landing interview! ;D

Just hoping mine will be done soon too! It's been 2 months and a week since I got my Decision made letter. Will be landing in Vancouver office, I am just worried because I don't know how to contact them and when I called CIC they said, Vancouver office doesn't make notes on the system. So how can I follow up my application? Does anybody here, tried landing in Vancouver too?

Please let us know when u get your interview and if the tip of calling CIC every week worked, I'm one week after you, it's been 9weeks yesterday since DM, but twice I called CIC they said Vancouver waiting time is 3months, It would be awesome to get the interview sooner than that, hoping for the best :)

Some agents say the strike doesn't affect Vegreville; some say it does. Who do we believe?
