I also got the letter from Hamilton CIC yesterday, the landing date will be next Wed. 27th. I got DM on 15th June, but more than one month landing interview was scheduled. Anyway, this around 11 month trip has been done!

Hey AEO626! My application is in processing since Nov 18 and I broke a promise given to myself not to call CIC this month anymore and called them today and the only thing they told me is that 'your application is being worked on and you'll be contacted within few weeks'... same story again

Hi All,

Does anyone know if I can travel abroad after the landing if I haven't received the PR card? I have a work visa in my passport until June 2012 but I am not sure if it still valid after the landing. Does anybody know?

My timeline:
Dec 23, 2009 application received in alberta
Sept 2010 - application transferred to Etobicoke
January 2011 - interview - AIP received
July 4th - decision made - agent advised of approval
July 21st - no letter or mail yet from CIC

Can anyone dealing with Etobicoke advise how long it took to get there letter after decision made...

I don't know about mine, they attached our police certificate which we sent to them on 30th May 2011 or they are still waiting for proper time to attached. CEC how you know that they attached yr police? you called them or you can see it on your e-cas update? ? because when I call them their answer is wait wait wait........................

Are you saying they attached your police certificate? or you are still waiting for them to attach it to your file? I am confused. We sent ours May 25th, 2011. Still no update on e-cas

Though am from another category I am also waiting for my landing interview date from Etobicoke. The call centre agent told me it takes 7-8 weeks for Etobicoke to respond for landing interview date.
Hopeful, you will get your letter soon mine took 8 days from Vegreville to reach me. My decision was made on July 12, 2011.

Have a question for those who got 1st and 2nd stage approval simultaneously or a the same time.

When did "Medical results have been received" appear on your ecas?
Was it at the same time with "Decision made"? Or was it there shortly after you were able to use ecas??
