No Theresa_Lynn............same like you, we sent & they receive on 30th May 2011 according to signature on canada post tracking but they never attached it, I never have e-cas update or phone machine update or any letter yet. who knows? or even they attached it but still keeping it secret ha ha ha.......my time line is again as under, I got my OWP & AIP both on 6th April 2011........

We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2010.

We started processing your application on August 26, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

We received the requested information on March 10, 2011. Thank you for providing the information.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Does anyone know if I can travel abroad after the landing if I haven't received the PR card? I have a work visa in my passport until June 2012 but I am not sure if it still valid after the landing. Does anybody know?

If you need to visa to travel to Canada, I think you need to wait for the PR card. The work PERMIT is normally not a work VISA unless it explicitly states that it allows multiple re-entries. (As far as I know. Never tried it, since I'm from a visa exempt country.)

Are you saying they attached your police certificate? or you are still waiting for them to attach it to your file? I am confused. We sent ours May 25th, 2011. Still no update on e-cas

They attached to my files. As I said before, they received my Police Checks in May and on June 13 I got the E-cas update "We received the requested info blabla" so I called CIC and the lady said they have received my Police Checks and put it into the system and they are just waiting for the approval. And it is has been over a month already. Shortly after that I got the "Medicals received" updated as well.

Hi everyone,
I got my second FOSS notes today. They were dated from July 11th, 2011.
There is no updates since RCMP check was requested by CIC on April 1st, 2011... Just information about my new prolonged visa was added to the file... No remarks about our relationship as well.

How do you think what is a standard time for RCMP check?
more than 4 months?
