I am apply visa in person last Saturday in bls
14 jan 2025 in process
15 jan 2025 in transit consulate general to bls centre
I didn’t understand its fast for visa application

Could be a glitch in system as it's way too fast for their processing timeline

That has a processing time of 45 days. Also visa is stamped on passport for it. I would be really surprised if they did that so fast. Do check if they found something missing from your side and returning the application.

It's $117.70
They do pickup and drop off from your home but for that you need to schedule pickup by calling customer care. They will provide you payment link for courier services after payment you get the label and good to go.

For surrendering Indian Passport, do we need to have Canadian Passport as well or can it be done with Canadian Citizenship Certificate only at BLS Brampton / Mississauga?

Only worked in BLS Vancouver. Others don't accept it.

We live in a Condo. While filling the online form for Indian Passport Surrender there is a field Address Line 1 (House No and Street Name). How should I enter the details here? For example if I live in Unit 101 on 50 Burnhamthorpe Rd, should I enter 50 BURNHAMTHORPE RD, UNIT 101 or UNIT 101, 50 BURNHAMTHORPE RD? Knowing how BLS works, just trying to make sure that the details in the application are accurate. Thanks for your help.

The address proof you using write accordingly. Like i used DL which had 101-50 BURNHAMTHORPE RD

Hello. I applied for my Surrender Certificate at BLS Surrey, on Jan 3, 2024. The application status on Passport website of the government shows "Surrender certificate has been printed." but BLS tracking shows "Processing at Consulate General". This has been the same for the past 4-5 days. Is this normal, or should I reach out to BLS and check the status over the phone?

Anybody else went through the same?

Hi, my wife and I are going to surrender our passports in BLS Brampton.When I call for the pickup service, is it okay to book just one pickup and drop-off service? Can we send both applications and passports in the same courier?

Drop off needs to be separate. Pickup can be same. You can verify the same on the call.
