Unless an application could be deemed complex why pay a consultant to fill in forms when with patience ,taking your time and forums such as this you can do it yourself as the majority of people do.
Also keep in mind that you are still responsible for the application content regardless of employing a consultant so if they make any mistake it is your mistake not theirs.
Ultimately though is a personal decision to go with whichever option you feel comfortable with and nobody here could really say for sure one or the other as circsumtances could of course influence any decision.
