Questions 27 and 28 on the IMM forum ask you if you have lived with you sponsor and if you are currently living with your sponsor.

My residency is still in the USA and I still have a legal address there. However, I will be staying with my husband in Canada throughout the application process as long as my visitor's visa is approved in November. Does it qualify me as 'living' with him, even though I'm only here with 'visitors' status? I put the address in Canada as the address to contact me at and the 'present address' in the IMM 5406, is that going to be okay? Answer ASAP, please. Sending application in tomorrow.

Also one last Question:
I dont' have ANY phone records or bank records of our communicated, but I do have 2+ years worth is chat logs, do you think that will be sufficient?

We put yes. My spouse is also here an a visitor visa throughout the process. Just put that as your residential address and then your mailing address as the one in the States. We actually only included our address here in Canada. Good luck!

No you are not living with him, your visiting. Chat records are fine there are reason people can't do phones the cost or disability etc...

Edited to add: technically it's illegal to "live" in Canada without a visa, so keep that in mind when filing out forms.... A visitors record is just that a record of your visit...

So then I put my address in the states? I'm confused.

You need to put your residential address as your address in the US, and you can put your mailing address as your address in Canada. You can NOT be living in Canada without the proper documentation. A visitors visa is for a VISIT only....
