IELTS didnt go as expected.
Reading 5, Listening 8, writing 8, speaking 7 ( just got my result, feel terrible, but got a chance to drink some booze today)
Education: 16 years of education. Highest degree : Post graduate diploma in hotel management.
Age 27
work Exp: 4 years 6 months as Sous Chef.

I think 2007 was my post grad, and 3 year prior to that was my bachelors. Are we of the same age?

Anyways, why are the dates important? Does CIC give bonus points for newer degrees and diplomas?

Hi bhalla:

Can you tell me how did you send your package from ND or Mumbai to Canada? DHL etc etc..tell me everything, whats economical etc? There are so many companies doing it these days.

Also, how did you clip all you papers together?

I plan to put small paper clips for individual forms and a bigger bull clip for everything together as a bunch. Is this fine?

And finally cover letter, do we need a cover letter at the start?

i sent that by TNT...it is delivered now.....yeah use small clips....that should be fine.. cover letter is must and make sure u attach the check list as well....

Your experience of 4 years is after ur post graduation or graduation ?????

I did apply without the cover letter and the app is now transferred to the VO. Does the VO care about the cover letter?

It seems I have been getting mixed opinions about cover letters, some have them , some dont. A cover letter will not guarantee a selection.

I really dont know if it has to be included or not.

I really don't know what would you write in the cover letter.
they know that your intention is to immigrate... :...
Maybe if you want to point out something that it is not mentioned in the app.

No apologies, its perfectly fine. Many have sent the letter, many have not. Absence or presence of the cover letter will not reject or approve your application.

But a great cover letter may put you in positive light, a bad cover letter is a disaster!

you are not eligible unless you can manage points from adaptability. U can also resit for IELTS and score full 16 points
