Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello guy's. I've given IELTS - Academic exam today in India. I thought it will be useful to share the tasks

Listening:

According to me, It was the easiest one similar to the practice test in Cambridge books

In the first section There was conversation between 2 people about the accommodation. All were Blanks.
Second section starts with MCQ's and Last 5 question was about matching the product or service with the firms.
In third Section, There was conversation between teacher and student about the course. Again All were blanks.
in Last , 5 question were MCQ's and 5 Blanks.

Reading:

The pattern of the questions was really bad. Each paragraphs had True/False/NG , Questions to answer in 2/3 words and pick multiple answers for given question. According to me, 2nd and 3rd paragraph were most difficult

Paragraph1: Forest industry in Zealand
Paragraph2: Face reconstruction
Paragrpah3: Brain longevity

Writing:

Task1 : A library map was given of 1995 and present time.Candidates were supposed to write the modifications in settings of various sections.
Task 2: The government should control the violence shown in movies and tv programs to reduce the crime in society . At what extent do you agree or disagree.

Others also share your experience and help others prepare !!! :)

Guys please share speaking topics also

Hi guys,
I took IELTS academic on 20th September in Serbia and had the same topics and questions like navneet10sep . As for the speaking part, it wasn't hard and questions were about area where I currently live, sharing and transportation.. Here are some that I can recall :

1st part
Do you like the place where you currently live?
Do you know many people in the area you live in?
Is it a good area for raising a family?

2nd part
CUE CARD: describe one thing you had to share with someone. What it was, with who you shared it...
What things children do not like to share?
What could parents do to motivate their children to share with others?
What benefits could children have in the future if they learn how to share at early age?

3rd part
How often do you travel by car?
Do people in your city often travel by taxi?
When was the last time you traveled by taxi?
Do you think everyone should learn how to drive and have a driving license?
Is there a lot of traffic in your city?
What could companies do to motivate people to share transportation?

That is all I can recall, hope it helps... Looking forward to hearing other experiences...
It would be nice to check answers from listening and reading if someone can remember...

It's not about WHAT wrote, but HOW wrote it.
All IELTS writing topics are generally easy + you're free to give them any crap which came into your mind.
The only condition is that this crap MUST be arranged and presented in a specific way. ;D

Bandmark 5 in writing cannot be improved only by checking spelling/punctuation. I can bet money on it.

There's more fundamental issue here
