How soon after medical will I see approved sponsorship

My application started in march 2015 and we just received the medical exam to do. When will we see first part of sponsorship approved?

It looks like you applied inland. So you should be expecting AIP around 16-18 months after your application was submitted to CIC.

Every application is different, and where your application is being processed (are you an inland applicant or outland?) has an impact as there are different timelines based on that and your circumstances. In my case, the completion of phase one was simultaneous with the request for a medical exam, which occurred about 7 months after CIC received my application.

Yes inland. So medical exam is done prior to the first stage (aip) is approved or not?

Maybe that is the case for you as they requested you to get a medical exam by a CIC panel physician before and without informing you that you are approved in kind (for phase 1). In my case, the same letter that told me I was approved for phase 1 requested the medical exam.
