To me it looks like a scam...i am now sure !!! How can they seperate husbands and wives ???? This is crazy!! And they just don't care..They neglect us.

heyyy i Know Lima the average time is 12 months, but I have seen a lot of people on here who landed after 9-10 months....and we are at almost a 19 months now ..:( i m so sad.. I spent the last two Christmas in Peru. I am going to see my husband for two week again at the end of August, but I am a starting to think that I might have to spend an other Christmas in Peru...There is still 6 months from here to then.. I was convinced he'd be here by now and that I wouldn't have to go in August...

lets keep it up... something must come out of all of this after all...

you should definately contact your MP (Member of parliament) so he can do a request to know what is happening. Is your husband going to live in Québec? I tell you this because even though they were supposed to received the CSQ from MICC, they didn't and waiting for it to start processing. Anyways, go see your MP and tell him about your case. He is used to help new immigrants with CIC, so do not worry and he can't say NO because you are far off the limit times.

Good luck!

Hey , I have been thinking about that. I will be speaking with the lawyer today. I will see what she says. She has told me about a month ago, that considering some of the complication of my application, she is not worried about the time yet...We sent new supporting proofs also last week, so we'll give them time to receive that and probably try to do this.

My husband will be living in Quebec. I don't know if that is the problem or not , but I doubt. We were requested additional papers, last October. If that had been missing I imagine that they would have requested it back then ?

anyway thank for your concern =)
