at some point i had wished i had travelled on a visitor visa and then dont an inland application. too many good stories coming out of buffalo!

Well, I can counter those good stories coming out of Buffalo! We'll have been waiting 8 months as of tomorrow. Sometimes I wonder if they assign an extra slow person to process all the temporary residents in Canada who apply through Buffalo as our punishment for not applying inland. :P

8 Months. Inland. Vegreville. Waiting for next month(#9) which I'm hoping will be the last of my long wait. Haven't heard nothing from them since they received my application on April 16th.
Can't wait to start my life here and get to work again, get a drivers license and be able to visit my family back in D.R. But feeling happy cause I'm the luckiest woman married to a wonderful Canadian man and we're doing this process together and not apart :)

I think I read in this forum that Canada placces priority on those couples separated -- to get them together more quickly. Really! LOL

So, since inland couples are already together -- in limbo maybe, but together --, Canada figures it can take even more time with these applications.

Ha ha, well that would just figure!

Yes, being together is amazing! Struggling financially because your partner can't work, not so much. Watching your partner's mood get lower and lower because he feels guilty about relying on you for everything -even worse.

Submitted on October 6. In process in Buffalo November 17, doc request December 2 ...PPR January HOPING!

OMG ..14 months till now from receive and submitted the application... Kuala Lumpur CIC office..

so frustrated. :( :'(

sent application to CPC-M in 1st week april 2010 and got sponsor approval by may 2010 after which the file was transferred to one of the slowest visa offices around the globe.... abu dhabi..... and its been in process since then ..... with requests for additional docs having been taken care of 2 times ....... and then nothing at all..........

so been in process -
part I - about 35 days
part 2 - since may 24 2010 - (6 months and 24 days)

hope this wait ends fast ...... hopes have gone up since one of us .... who had applied around the same time .... has received PPR....... hope we also get it .... staying away is killing us both.......

please pray for us.......and all the best to everyone around the world waiting to unite with hteir partners.......
