He didn't mean any harm. If you read interview experiences for younger man/older women couples, they are frequently questioned about their age difference - so it must mean something to CIC.

yes i know,,,lol,,,i have read here on this forum a woman who was 29 years older than her man, they were refused before and went for appeal, and he got his visa and he is living with his wife now there in canada.
people aren't the same,,,it's true there are some who are using older women just for that, but my father is 17 years older than mom,and we are moroccan(muslims) and my wife's father was 16 years older than his woman(they are canadian)...my wife is 7 years older than me,,,lol,,,this is life you choose who you want to be with

Muslim traditions today are a bit different than they were 1300 years ago.
Women in Muslim countries lack the financial independence of their western counterparts so while it may permitted from a religious perspective it is less likely to happen from the cultural reality.

You really need to learn to leave things well enough alone. Two different threads I read that you posted on you badgered people who didn't agree with you. That is not what this to forum is for. I'm not telling you what to do. But I feel you are turning this into a hostile environment. It's a free country and you are entitled to your own opinion but not the right to force it upon others. Please stop. A new person may be mislead by these posts and not see the forum for what it is intended for. This is a very helpful and welcoming forum. Not a debate team. Hate me if you want. I don't particularly care but please stop. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Sorry. Exactly what did I say that was bad? If I make an informed comment that someone disagrees with I simply supply the facts that support my position. I don't badger anyone. I certainly don't tell people to stop. If you think what I post is wrong or inaccurate then you can correct me. That's called democracy.

we're still in the process of finishing it, but I am predicting about 80-100 pg. Our trip and outings alone are 6 pages double spaced and at this stage I've had enough, I never wrote this much even when I was in university :D; I could write more but all that's left is to tell CIC what we ordered for lunch and dinner on the outings lol

I think unless you are in a conjugal relationship or a relationship not supported by a lot of legal documentation you are doing yourself a great disservice by making it 100's of pages long.

Well to tell you the truth, my husband has already started making fun of me. And I feel like everything I am writing is too cheesy, somewhat robotic and too long.
What is the appropriate way to write trips and outings together, should I write something in bullet form stating date and place we went or do I need to describe it? We have actually been to a lot of places together since we started dating thats why its very long.
Also, I'm printing each picture in a separate sheet so if we're putting 30 pics approx, thats 30 pages.

Just stick to the facts. I would do bullet forms. Places and dates you have been together. Stuff you jointly own and any documentation to support that. Your marriage certificate and pics of your service. A few pics of each place you've been. If you have been married for many years and have children then you really shouldn't need more than that.

Thanks. I guess I will do a bullet form. We have no children together and my husband is older than me, so I feel like I need to prove myself to CIC that this is not a marriage of convenience. Thanks for the advice, its easier to write a bullet form rather than a novel about our life lol

I'm in the same situation my husband is many years older than me, and I feel the same that I have to prove I really love him. So i'm stuck here because I feel I'm writting a long story about us, and CIC is going to get bored of reading it, or not even care ;D
