I think part of the issue is young men marrying women past their childbearing years. Having kids of their own is important to many people. Some cultures judge a man on how many children/sons he can produce.

Not going to say that fits every situation, but I have seen questions leading down that line self-reported by users of this forum when discussing their interview.

I am going to go for a sufficient quantity of quality info!

I am going to get statements from my family and close friends/co-workers who have been with me through all the struggles to be with my wife and kids.

I am also going to get some of my favorite pictures and written statements from both me and my wife.

For good measure i am going to include phone bills and lease agreements we had signed together and bank statements from our joint account.

In my case I am lucky that I've had enough history with my wife and kids to provide enough evidence without worrying about it.

I am not muslim myself, so I cannot speak for sure. But as far as I know, it is very common. Several people (women) that I have worked with in the past, were married to men at least 10 years older, I asked if that was common for them and they said it is acceptable and it happens often. I don't think it should be a red flag, like I said the person that I mentioned in the previous comment was much younger than her husband and same with her sister and they are muslim, their cases were approved and someone that I worked with, her husband sponsored her to come here (arranged marriage) and I remember her saying that he doesnt like the gifts she gets for him because he is 10 years older than her (different generation she meant).

Sorry I should have clarified that I understood that the age difference was an issue when the woman was much older than the man.

Mine was 2 kg BUT it was packages and wrapped alot, etc.
