The only similarity is the length in China. I have enough proof of my intention to return. What exactly did the sponsor provide for proof of intention to re-establish in Canada? I've submitted what I would consider to be enough proof, and others have also said that what I have submitted is more than enough...
Would you mind posting more details? Is the sponsor a white Canadian? Definitely more information is needed...
We are both still young. We have a child together (he is a Canadian citizen). I have a secure job offer in Canada. I have correspondence with banks and reality companies regarding mortgages and property. I am a registered student at a Canadian university. I submitted letters from family and friends supporting our decision and my parents have offered us a place to stay when we first arrive. I wrote a 4 page detailed account of everything we need to do to cut ties with China and re-establish in Canada. All my family is in Canada, so I definitely still have ties in Canada. Without knowing more about the case you have mentioned, it's impossible for me to guage if this might be a problem for us. If the cases are very similar, I will fly home to start re-establishing myself by renewing my license, opening bank accounts, etc...but I really don't see this as something I will have to do, at least I hope not!!
