I just checked my cic account and found that they extended the estimated processing time again for another 4 months more. Does anyone here experience the same?
What do you mean processing time was extended? Do you mean the total processing time is 16 months instead of 12? In my GCKey account, it still indicates the total processing time is about 12 months.

When you log into your go account, there is a bar indicating the “estimated processing time”. Two weeks ago, it is still 12 months from 27 April 2019 till 27 April 2020. However when I checked yesterday, the time change to August, 6 months more.

Feeling more and more frustrated

I wouldn't read too much into the estimated processing time because it's just an estimate.
Each application is different and things can change during the process. Not sure why they added the
'stupid bar graph display' and wonder how much that cost? Maybe they think it will cut down on calls to the call centre?
One step at a time.
Getting more anxious everytime I go to the CIC web site, their estimated processing time is getting longer and longer, from my initial 34 months to 40, then 44, and now 53. I connected with a bunch of people from philippine and India, Their VO only needs 3-6 months to complete

Wow, that's a long time!
I think there may be some other circumstances around your application especially if they keep changing their
processing time even though its just an ' estimate '. Good thing is it shows they are working on it and moving forward.
You are correct, it's obvious applicants from other countries you mentioned move much faster for whatever reasons?
So don't focus on that it will make you ' anxious every time '. Contact your MP and find out what's really happening
if you don't already know.

well, obviously your case is very different from the rest. My estimate time is still 12 months and did not get changed.Without further details, you may want to contact your Member of Parliament to check with IRCC for more details. Or you could order GCMS notes to find out the details yourself.
