@Singh navi did you call them to know whats is going on with your file?Dec 2021
Congrats!Hello everyone. Here with an update.
So on June 9th I was sent a medical request (without AIP) (Ecas: In Process - Medical required). I made an appointment for the following week but first thing in a Monday morning I received an email from IRCC that medical is not required and I should cancel my appointment until further notice. Nothing on status update upon asking. Was told that I will be contacted if anything required. It was very scary since I had not received the AIP so it put me in doubt. I thought maybe I will be exempted since I haven't left Canada in more than 5 years but these were all my guesses and I could only wait for an email update.
However, Today I received my AIP in the email confirming the approval. So Thank God ! I hope and pray the same for you all.
The email states that I will now be issued a medical request to be expected in a day or two. I don't mind waiting for the follow up process since I've waited so much already, but I just found it odd and inefficient. I could have completed my medical if it was required at the end of the day and have saved some time. But it's all okay in the end thank God.
And thank you guys, all the members and contributors, I started my H&C journey after stumbling upon this forum and with the help and guidance from past and current members. Will keep updated what happens next going forward. Thank you
many Congratulations, you deserve it!Hello everyone. Here with an update.

No I never called. I asked in a reply of the first email. And I think that's a standard response which they give to all until they have finalized Stage 1 approval which i.e. AIP. I simply asked if there is ANY update at all on my application and the response was that you will be contacted by our office and thank you for your patience. That is a sign where one should stop asking for too much updates or send 5 emails to ask 5 different questions. It makes work slower, trust me. Only if a Senior contacts you, they will have the details and will tell you more.
And I believe that AIP is usually issued by a Senior and not by officers with agent codes (in my experience at least), who was very nice and detailed. In my case: Criminality was already passed and Security is what the officer had passed now. So I'm assuming that who ever is waiting for a status change in "security", it might only pass after Stage 1 approval. No mention of "eligibility" or "background" because I think eligibility is done whether H&C should put into process or not, if that makes sense. Only medical is required now.
All this info is my personal experience that I'm sharing, so don't take my word for anything. Every case is unique in nature. Good luck !
Congrats, can u ples share your timeline??Hello everyone. Here with an update.

Thankyou for the detailed reply - that's interesting, because the automated response says my eligibility is in process, whereas the agent on the phone specifically said that eligibility has not started yet...Thank you.
