It used to be 36 or more before that..people on this forum have waited 3-4 years..

It is a very long process- I would suggest that you hold tight - you are still early in the game:) I know it is very difficult to wait patiently, but give it until 16-17 months atleast (before you worry too much..lol) I was the same initially - would suggest that you call a few times if needed...

Finally got AIP earlier this month.. For sending documents after AIP, are we supposed to get an acknowledgment email from the office?? (excluding the auto reply) , since most documents were already sent, I re-sent them with updated financials...but its been almost 2 weeks and no reply from them...

Our medical was passed before AIP, so its not necessary but could be a positive sign - but it was almost 10 months ago..

Usually it does help - but at the moment it looks like even MP offices are taking longer than usual due to the number of backlogs. Did you request GCMS notes? That can trigger movement as well... at this point it looks like its common to be over 22 months without AIP.

Did you get an MP involved? From your earlier posts I saw that you applied in Dec 2021 and in your October notes nothing had started, and now in Feb you got the AIP...is that correct? did you do anything to trigger a movement?

Havent spoken to anyone yet.. looking at others this feels like a normal ISH time line...but might look into contacting an MP - what do we really tell them? just request them to follow up with IRCC? I would like to know if requesting notes could ever trigger any movement?

Same situation - May 2022 application and everything still pending. I asked for ATIP notes and medical was passed (was done in prior 5 years) and criminality but everything else is not started or in process, with due dates of 2022 but nothing updated after that... At this stage Im very confused...
