Its appears to me that there is some kind of hold up on H&C applications especially for those who have already received AIP and may be for all. Things are not moving.

Its really very frusterating and over whelming. I am in the same situation.

AIP > September, Medical >Oct, Address confirmation > December. Nothing after that. Background check in process when ever I call.

Same here, its now 5 months since receipt of AIP but no portal 1 email yet. Its so overwhelming now :(

I am in the same boat. I sent the requested documents on Oct 02 and received and responded address confirmation email on Dec 23. Hopefully the process to PR card will complete in this month of Jan 2025, considering new quota for year 2025 may have kicked in now. This waiting game is brutal.

AIP in Sep! Got email last week to confirm my residential address in Canada but not sure if it is called Portal email or not. No update than this since AIP except medical request in October.

They only asked for confirmation of physical address in Canada but not the other information about height , eye colour etc. So its not P1 email than? The height and eye colour information should be in the medical exam which I had earlier, I think so they may not need to ask again?
