We had deportation order and I still refused to file JR. CBSA gave administrative deferral until AIP. I was fed up with $$$$$$ poured into lawyers.

If you sent reconsideration request, they reopened your file. Did you specifically mention in your email that you ask them reconsider?
If you did not ask reconsideration this is tech glitch. Our file got refused in July 2020 and was showing in process until March 2021
I did applied for reconsideration and address all errors of the Officer, I also submitted updated and neely supporting documents to challenge the decision of the Immigration Officer.

Congratulation they open your file again , usually they won’t reconsider , praying for you .
How long does the reconsideration will be made ? Any experienced guys? Because my stay in Canada will be end on this month.
The officer open your file so he’s going to process again and make a decision, in 1 to 3 months , did you apply for JR?
