No it’s not social assistance . It’s an employee insurance which gets deducted from your paycheckI was laid off my work in April bc if covid but 2 months ago,my work wasted mw to come back but I'm working just 8hours a week and I'm also receiving EI.is is social assistance? Will be happy of any one can reply to this please
Congratulations to them but no 2 cases are alike and AIP isn't full approval people should still be cautious until they have passed the second stage. Saying a case is not guaranteed doesn't mean a person will be denied it just means their case needs to be reviewed on it's own merit. It is unclear how @kikababe arrived in Canada. She was not a refugee and arrived in January 2019 (according to her posts) and has had 2 children in Canada since then. It is unclear what her status was or has been. We know nothing about her case and whether she arrived as a visitor, student, worker. WP have no idea if she has a WP or is supporting herself and her children. Whether she had healthcare coverage when she had the children. You can't guaranteed a case will be approved or denied with almost no information about the case.congratulations !
@canuck78 Guess what ! the case of kikybabe that you told us that is not guaranteed was approved! you must congratulate him
You can get EI because you have paid into it and now that you need it,it’s only right! Any benefit is okay besides Welfare.Thats really frowned uponI was laid off my work in April bc if covid but 2 months ago,my work wasted mw to come back but I'm working just 8hours a week and I'm also receiving EI.is is social assistance? you should mention in a letter that you are laid off due to Covid 19 and submit the pay stub when you laid off. Don't worry about the social assistance. If you can mention that you are working part time and attached any pay stub for extra benefits. As per exiting situation will be consider positive. No ..not social assistance. Don't worry

This Canuck cannot change. Very stubborn. Thank God he's not the officer that determines peoples destiny in the immigration office. He would definitely reject/refuse all applications that go to him. By God's grace I pray that all those who have received thier AIP will receive full approval. And all those awaiting AIP will receive it and thier full approvals and thier PR cards and thier citizenship by the power of Almighty God. AmenCongratulations to them but no 2 cases are alike and AIP isn't full approval people should still be cautious until they have passed the second stage.
