On Oct 30 th I received request to confirm and after that nothing else, it’s been almost 2.5 months since the request,

I am wondering why did they ask for address?
Let me know if any one knows why IRCC request to confirm residential address

I have the exact timeline (Oct 28). Nothing after address confirmation. I am told that it's usually followed by Portal 1, Portal 2 and then eCOPR.
Usually folks received portal 1 after 15-20 days of address confirmation. I was told that IRCC most likely had met the quota for 2024 followed by vacation/holidays in Dec. Possible reason for delays but yes, my online portal doesn't say anything. Still shows submitted.

No just the portal email asking for full name, address, uci etc

MP can check the status of your application on your behalf however MP can not influence the processing time
