I just called IRCC lol, way too Rude Agent he was asking me questions like i am criminal. He was like how many time you called us since you applied for application lol.

Never give up. Not all of them same.

It's normal for an extension to be refused once you file an H&C application. Your father needs to remain in Canada without status and wait for the results of the H&C application.

Wont that be a problem or a removal be issued for overstaying? wont this negatively affects the H&C ircc being aware of same. they have given below reasons,

[X] Immigration legislation requires that foreign nationals wishing to remain longer in Canada submit an application for extension of their temporary resident status on or before the expiry of the authorized period. Your temporary resident status in Canada expired on 2024/02/25 and your application was made on 2024/03/02.
[X] You are a person in Canada without temporary resident status who is not eligible for restoration under Section 182 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.
[X] You are a person in Canada without legal status and as such are required to leave Canada immediately. If you do not leave Canada voluntarily, enforcement action may be taken against you.

Hello I received an email after sending 2nd stage requirements asking me to provide background declaration form, additional family information and the IMM0008 Generic Permanent Resident Application form my question is do I need to print and sign it or I can send the validated soft copy without signing it. I was requested to send it by email again. @Pear23 did they ask you to send this again?

Most people who apply under H&C end up falling out of status in Canada while they wait for processing to complete or are already out of status at the time they apply. Again, this is normal. Make sure he remains in Canada and does not leave until there is a decision in his application.

When did you send in your 2nd stage required documents? Answer to your question, you will need to print and sign it before sending it back to them.

Hi @Waiting2020 yes we received the background declaration form and additional family information form except the Generic permanent resident application to be filled and submitted within seven days.

As for signing: yes you have to sign it. You don't need to print and sign you can sign it electronically that's what we did.

They usually request those forms when your application has elapsed more than 2 years.

Guys today I received an email from MP office that they stated has zero capacity to push the file to render the decision I was told they only can get updates that everyone can access it by ATIP notes or call centre updates so in this case MP office does not worth it for me

We recieved request to complete the forms May 13th with a seven days deadline. The first portal email came on July 4th.
