Well, I don't know him personally, all I can say is that he has pretty good feedback, and the explanations he is putting down seems pretty reasonable to me.

I recall another thread that people were asking if this was safe and other members have also mentioned it's trustworthy. Take a look at this one:

so a quick question... is it safe to order the GCMS notes after 3 months when our file has been "in process" its been 2 months now i was planning to order them next month..any suggestions??

I dont have my husbands file number that starts with F or any other letter all I have is my own client ID will that work to order the notes??? my sponsorship approval letter never got to me in the mail and i never recieved my aor... but i know i got approved over the phone i got that info.. and my ecas is in Process... do you know if i can just use my own client id??
and when is the best time to order? after how many months that our file has been in proces???

I was gonna ask this actually. The question came when you mentioned you got the full file. What I sent was IMM5563E, IMM5475E, the receipt for $5 and I used his file number (starting with F) in the information request form. Will this give me the full info, or I will need the "use of a representative" instead of "information release" form?

I ordered mine 7months after the approval letter and it was completely empty full with NOT STARTED, it had no activities since the approval...Most people recommend ordering after your half way in your VO processing time. I'd say around 3/4 of your VO processing time.

well our VO was at 5 months..got updated to 6 months... then got updated to 15 months....... so maybe 3-4 months down the road? :-s

Also, I was wondering, how soon after the file transfer your VO requested your info (sponsor info) from CPC-M? Mine is 3 days after the B number assignment.

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if this is an automatic procedure, or needs to be initiated on the VO side.

How about the timeline? How long after the file reached CPC-O you see the incoming notice for the forms? Like I mentioned mine is 3 days after they assigned the paper file number. If yours is also in the same ballpark, then it might be something that is done as part of the process and not really an indication that someone went through the papers.

The incoming from CPP-M was a month after the approval, and two months for the paper files. The transfer can be seen also under application status which shows the eligibility of transfer was 1month after sponsorship approval.

I think I now understand what EAIMEL is. The all of the fields that can be updated via reading the barcodes have "Updated By: EAIMEL"
I'm guessing when you applied only the applicant's form had a barcode? Because for us the sponsor also had one.

About the paper file, I have read that when they assign a paper file number, that's when they start working on it. Basically, the same principle as with the sponsorship approval. They don't touch a file, but once they open it, they start processing it after that.

If you are seeing the incoming information for the sponsor first, and then a month later you see the paper file number assignment, comparing with my time line, I am inclined to think that the incoming sponsor info is part of the process and no one requests it. Similar to the medical: it is expected to be linked to the applicants files, the sponsor's info also must be there.

I am starting to wonder how often the officers need to update the GCMS notes. Is it possible that some of them prefer to enter their notes at a later date? From what you're describing, your file has been open since mid July-ish.

I did that digging when I saw IMM1344A this is the new barcode form
I hope as you have said that once they create a paper file number, they will work on it ...however this has been more than 3months ago!!! I do not really see any progress

If you have access to Adobe Acrobat, it will only take a couple of mins for it to process it. But like I said you most probably need to resize the pages, because CIC scans them too big!
