Hello frndz...many of us have crossed the time limit of 3 & 6 months as mentioned on 2nd AOR of getting further instructions from CHC-ND. Have any one make enquiry about their status & what do the CHC-ND replied.

In April, I have submitted case-specific inquiry about processing time lines.
No reply till now. I will post when I receive any response.

Hi All,

Need 1 advise please.

God Blessed us with a Baby Boy on 19th May. I got Birth certificate of Baby but Passport will take some time.

In the mean time I have Informed CHC ND via case specific enquiry Portal.

Do I need to follow any other step to inform CHC ND ? or Anything else. Please suggest.

Waiting for an early reply.

Thanks,

IMPORTANT- someone who had applied through my agent has received the following reply from the visa office- I believe it would be an important message for all of us here.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

@ Dingar, Saadika & Others in the thread,

Would the two years (or more) period start from the date of sending/receipt of our 1st application to/by Nova Scotia or from the date of sending/receipt of application with complete set of documents to/by NDVO?

Thanking you all in anticipation of prompt reply.

Warm Regards
