Almost 1/3 rd of jan completed Canada and its bs continues.i haven't seen a lot of pprs or a lot of remeds.

It's got nothing to do with what month/year it is. You won't see PPRs until the CEC backlog hits zero. I keep saying this but yeah. IRCC has absolutely no incentives to allocate resources for outland apps.

Lol after clearing backlogs what again a mega cec draw means what again backlogs and then hits kung flus new variant and there we are 2023 still fucking waiting while some pgdm clowns get in 2 months lol.

If you are looking in a realistic perspective ircc mofos have no incentive to allocate its resources to fsw- o who wants to make their jobs difficult.

The time I wasted on Canada had I opened a barbershop atleast that buisness would have been successful.

Not a mega but outlands will likely get only one 3k draw per month instead of two 4k draws. IRCC probably plans to take 70% from inside Canada and 30% from outside.

Should take another 4-5 months for them to clear CEC. They're processing end of April 2021 applications now. Then they'll have no choice but to process the FSW backlog with full capacity (assuming there are miraculously no more new CEC draws till then)

I couldn't find a bigger font to match the size of that assumption. Well there won't be CEC draws but 2x draws / month for whatever that new CEC&TR2PR breed stream is. From now on inland apps will be processed within 6-9 months (like in 2021) and outland apps will be processed in 15-18 months on average (like in 2021).

Basically 2021 is the new game.

It has been 26 months my friend is waiting after his file got approved in July.
Atleast the only comfort is I don't have to see the bs in kubeir's group some losers from my country posting.

Yeah still going, so it means no degree yet = no PGWP = no CEC. Might get PGWP towards the end of this year but F that. I've been applying to jobs everywhere because I'm not looking to have my plans fucked by Canada again so I treat any visa or prospects I have in Canada as if they didn't exist. Nobody can guarantee any timing, Canadian immigration is worse than GC lottery.

So something weird happened to my niece.

Back story: wife (my niece) in Canada since 2019 for studies. Hubby and 2 kids back in home country. In 2020, hubby received nomination from Alberta, got ITA and submitted application mid-2020. AOR is September 2020. Hubby and kids applied for TRV to come to Canada pending the PR application, thinking COVID will relent and application will be quickly approved. TRV was never processed by IRCC.

Last GCMS notes for PR application in June 2021 showed eligibility and criminality passed, security not started

Meanwhile, wife finished studies and approved for PGWP. Unfortunately due to covid, she could only get NOC C job. Hubby applied for SOWP and SP for kids but was refused 3 times because NOC C job.

End of Dec, out of frustration , wifey emailed her MP (she is in Nova Scotia) pouring out her heart and saying how depressed she is being separated from her husband and kids for so long and would really need help etc.

today, she gets email from IRCC, referring to the inquiry made on her behalf by her MP:

• Apologising for the delay;
• Told her they can see that the PR application has passed eligibility and was awaiting security finalisation, but don't have updated info as it is being processed inland (not sure what that means);
• EMAILED HER PPRs FOR HER HUSBAND AND KIDS BASED ON THE LAST REFUSED SOWP application !!!!

We are still in shock from all these. I personally cannot believe this happened, perhaps until I see the TRV actually stamped on their passports!!

I talk to my friends in Canada almost daily. Dude, we're unlucky because the whole covid BS is delaying our landing but we are DAMN LUCKY to not be in Canada right now. Economy is shit, social life is shit, housing is shit, job market is shit (even more so than usual).

I might give it a try, I actually love how French sounds.

Its a beautiful sounding illogical language with too many exceptions.

Only thing I learnt was to say "Je cherche petite amie" and it did not take me far. If you have a partner to practice it, it is much fun. Making fun of its weirdness while learning new obtuse way of using its constructs is fun!

Alternatively, find a competent teacher and practice diligently.
