Lol after clearing backlogs what again a mega cec draw means what again backlogs and then hits kung flus new variant and there we are 2023 still fucking waiting while some pgdm clowns get in 2 months lol.

If you are looking in a realistic perspective ircc mofos have no incentive to allocate its resources to fsw- o who wants to make their jobs difficult.

The time I wasted on Canada had I opened a barbershop atleast that buisness would have been successful.
You know, barbers and stylists are in demand essential profession. Learn french and who knows, they will fast track your application. :p

Alright folks... some good news. Apparently, they did winter cleaning in Ottawa VO and collected all the CEC apps and shoved them in dustbin Edmonton. CPC-Edmonton (often stylised as EDmonton or D'EDmonton) is known for its difficulty and lethargy in getting it up Processing. So, CEC is now officially D'EDmontoned. Mythical PPR rain will follow soon as decks are cleared in CPC Ottawa and elsewhere for FSW processing.

Meanwhile, VO Flash Slothmore of CPC EDmonton is happy to set a facility record of fast right clicking in as low as a week.

@GandiBaat Truth or fan-fic? Share source if true please
Its ... sort of both. A lot of folks remaining in CEC now are complex cases for many different reasons like Outland dependents, ADRs, Review Required for Eligibility, Security Screening etc etc. The rate of PPRs in CEC threads is down to a minimum. A lot of us (from september and august thread) got their applications moved to Edmonton -- a VO known for its slow processing. Also, it seems in a lot of provinces, the "youngish" folks are now getting their booster dose. The only inference I can draw is that IRCC is doing its "Slow shift to FSW".

Yours truely have somehow also managed to land into "Complex bin" as well because of a RCMP certificate. Apparently, even after having the certificate IRCC cannot make up their mind if my wife is an innocent woman or a deadly criminal. So we are having our application moved to Edmonton as well.

I have a feeling they're gonna do one FSW draw this year just to keep outlanders hooked and full of hope so they don't leave the pool
Nah. Not officially cancelling it and vague gesturing towards will be enough to keep FSW suckers hooked on to the hopium tank.

Guys please suggest me I'm at 501 CRS tech worker and the wait is LITERALLY killing me.... should I reduce my education and work experience both to appear dumb enough for OINP Tech Draw? Please tell me....
Yes. That's your only option. 501 is too high. You have zero chance with that score. Maybe create a second account with lower scores to be safe. But 501 will never get you an ITA.

Entry Requirements: Adjustments for certain travellers entering Canada
As of January 15, 2022, certain groups of travellers, who are currently exempt from entry requirements, will only be allowed to enter the country if they are fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved for entry into Canada. These groups include:

  • Individuals travelling to reunite with family (unless they are under 18 years of age if travelling to reunite with an immediate or extended family member who is either fully vaccinated or a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person registered under the Indian Act.)
  • International students (18 years of age and over)
    • Fully vaccinated students will be allowed to attend any provincially or territorially designated learning institution in Canada.
    • Unvaccinated students under the age of 18 must attend a designated learning institution with a COVID-19 readiness plan approved by the province or territory where the school is located.
  • Professional athletes and their support staff, and amateur athletes.
  • Individuals with a valid work permit, including temporary foreign workers, outside of agricultural and food processing.
  • Most essential service providers (including truck drivers, emergency service providers and marine researchers).
As of November 30, 2021, travellers need to be fully vaccinated to travel within Canada with very few exceptions. There is a limited period, until January 14, 2022, during which individuals in specified exempt groups can continue to enter the country if unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, as well as take a connecting flight to their final destination that is scheduled to depart within 24 hours of the departure time of their flight to enter Canada. However, if they remain unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, they will not be allowed to take a plane or train beyond their original connection, except to depart Canada before February 28, 2022. As such, all travellers are strongly advised to make plans to get vaccinated as soon as they can, in order to travel freely in and outside the country.

On January 15, 2022, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers will only be allowed to enter Canada if they meet one of the limited exceptions, including:

  • agricultural and food processing workers;
  • foreign marine crew members;
  • those entering on compassionate grounds;
  • new permanent residents;
  • newly resettled refugees;
  • children under the age of 18 who are currently exempt from the travel restrictions, including international students who are studying at a designated learning institution that has a COVID-19 readiness plan; those travelling with a parent, step-parent, tutor or guardian who is either fully vaccinated, or a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person registered under the Indian Act; and those travelling to reunite with immediate or extended Canadian family members in Canada; and
  • national interest exemptions.

To feel good that they have taken some action instead of endlessly waiting lol
But I consider that not as a smart move, just live like it doesn't exist and plan accordingly instead of withdrawing. Ircc don't give a fuck, he is the only one going to lose.

They don't actually plan to withdraw. They want attention. "Look at me, my life is soooo terrible, I've waited for two years. Now I will withdraw, so you should feel bad for me."

Empty threats to seek out attention and have people console them. That's it. Either that, or they actually are fucking idiots who will actually withdraw.
