Nope with Canada efficiency it will take forever to implement some TEER based system.
Maybe not. Part of me feels that IRCC is extremely worried with how large the pool has gotten and so a "TEER" system might give them an excuse to be extra selective or something along that line.

Thank you guys for commenting on my last post. I am also trying to keep myself motivated, although it is really difficult at this point. My last sort of hope, deadline or I don't know..whatever one can call it - is the 2022's first draw. Even If we will be all still kept on hold (CEC/FSW), my optimism would increase by 1%. But if the CEC/PNP loop restarts, mannnn...Gonna forget about it all together...

For now, I just try to boost my mood once again, as it seems the majority of you are still hopeful. Let's see what 2022 brings for all of us, either pre or post ITAs

In that last live stream kubeir was hinting that tr to pr and canada focus will be there. Not as bad 2021 but it will still be there.
Kubeir attended some conference. It seems that a lobby inside canada wants more pathways for people inside canada. So IRCC may bring back some version of tr to pr.
My worry is, will they ever clear the 2019 and 2020 files?

Nope. The pre-ITA folks are the least things that they worry about. Why would 200K pre-ITA folks scare them while they seem to be unfazed at 1.8m PR and 750K TRV backlog ?

1.8m is the total backlog out of which 550k are PR applications and about 110k are express entry applications out of that 550k. Also, IRCC supposedly processed 1.5m temporary visa applications from January to September of this year.

oh got it but still 550k PR is a lot....

The backlog is more severe for Temporary residents and Citizenship applications. For PR, it’s alot lesser and manageable, especially the express entry category which is what they seem to care most about. It’s unfortunate that the outland category of EE has been sidelined for long until recently. They can clear a significant portion of EE backlog before March 2022 if they are willing

1.8m persons not applications.
I think kubeir went though this in detail in the last weeks live stream.
1.8 million and 550k are just exageration.
True and there are several thousands of duplicate applications as well.
