I am not sure whether what I think makes sense or not, but I kinda feel like the real reason behind pausing these draws was to technically increase the cutoff scores..I feel like Canada likes to do things indirectly. Like rather than officially changing the scoring system in a way that makes it more difficult to score, they simply put on too many on hold so that cutoff scores would increase automatically. I might be thinking wrong, but if you look at it this way, we were all thinking the reason to pause draws was Pandemic...But now it became the backlog...But again I am not sure this is the real reason. I feel like they wanted to put an end to FSW applicants receiving ITAs at below 450 range...
I basically do not have any motive to care about Express Entry at this point, just wanted to share my thought.

Hi there does anyone have the request to update PCC? We had a finalized case this spring but it seems they decided to check criminality once again.
how much time it may take to process updated Police certificates?
PCCs were uploaded to the profile on Friday 10th December. May it take a couple of days?) And we can get PPR? Remed passed on 30th November

So, they want more CEC with a score of 75 rather than FSW with 450

I don't think that this makes sense. They can choose the frequency and size of the draws. There are many candidates above 470+ yet still no draw.

Also, OINP has ignored everyone above 467 this whole year despite having thousand of profiles above 467 so CRS doesn't matter at all to OINP or IRCC. That 75 CEC draw is proof.

Errr... Ummm... Ummmm... Nope.

In last PNP draw (where they took 1000 people) the cutoff was 689.... 600 for PNP and ONLY 89 for actual score.

No, that theory is dead on arrival.

Its simply this much.

Canada had flu
She avoided eating delicious and healthy Chicken nuggets
But then she went wild and ate a shit tonne of Pork Chops
And now she is sitting on the Royal Throne with stomach and arse that cannt stop rumbling
And only eats small portions of porridge cooked in creek water
Meanwhile taking a dump to get rid of all the gluttony of February.

I have 481 but I think I’m doomed already since it will be 476 in March
That's actually a very good score, according to me if they continue with the fsw draws, as they used to before the fovid virus, even with 30k candidates with 471+ it would take 6-7 draws( 5k-6k) before they reach the lower 470's. It would drop further if they continue inviting people, even with more people entering the pool, because bear in mind to achieve a score of 470+ you need a combination of masters+ ielts + right age + sibling + experience/study in canada.

We're fucked if... and ONLY THING I'M WORRIED ABOUT IS IF THEY CHANGE THE EXPRESS ENTRY PROGRAM. ie TEER/NOC based.. etc etc...

Friends i have a query if anyone can guide.
I have Express entry profile which become ineligible due to age factor on 30th October. Points 66/100.
I got invitation of bc pnp express entry stream on 17th August and then i applied on 15 September 2021. Still waiting for nomination.
Since express entry profile becomes ineligible i tried to add a new account with arranged employment points which is 5 as per rules but still the system said the new profile is ineligible.
Can anyone guide what could be the mistake?

Nope with Canada efficiency it will take forever to implement some TEER based system.

Anyone here whose waiting for their PPR, managed to get a work permit or positive LMIA while their PR application is still in progress? Can you please share you experiences, on what happened next if you did accept that work permit / positive LMIA. Thanks.
