I don't have any statistics to back my claim but I don't think TR to PR is an issue.when ever I open fb my feed is flooded with TR to PR "finally I recieved PR blahs blahs blah....." and I have seen most aproved in a week or 2 after AOR .So that doesnot seem like an issue.(conditions apply-we are dealing with IRCC)
Their AOR is kinda like spouses second AOR, it takes a bit after applying and after it’s received it’s very quick. You can check that several that was approved in 2 weeks after AOR got the AOR a while after applying.

Kind of a noob question: I will be leaving my current job soon, should I get a reference letter for it? Will it be required anytime in the future?

Please do it! I was saved a lot of trouble because I had one. Even though my manager had long gone from the company, having a letter with all your responsibilities mentioned makes life REALLY REALLY better when you need one. In worst case if you need a more recently issued one, you can put this in front of the former employer and ask them to just reissue it. It worked for me. Tracking down your former boss after they have moved is annoying to say the least.

Just wondering in which situation it will be required in the future now that I have already submitted my application.

I thought the same about my Australia PR. And here I am, doing a PR for Canada. Life tosses you around.

Applying for Canada has taught me not to bother with shit like this ever again. I was not even trying to move to any other country, just the idea of getting the citizenship was too tempting.
Fair enough your choice!
I just told what I had done and what I will do.

Hi Everyone,

I'm facing issue with my application. Yesterday night I have done few changes in my application like IELTS score updation and transmitted those changes by signing the declaration. After that I'm getting 'Processing Submission' status under 'Current Status' column. Its been 16 hours and it is still same. I'm also unable to see my application as link to view application is disappeared.

Can you please shed some light what's the issue. What should I do now?

Note: Pre- ITA application

Thanks in advance.

So has everyone gotten the "we are working on your application" emails? There were two in the last month I believe. I didn't get either! Should I be worried

you are Australian PR holder? Any particular reason you want Canadian PR as well?
My wife. She is very reluctant to go to Australia. Her family member lost their life working there. I personally love the country and Sydney especially. I can get a job easily in Sydney or Brisbane. Both cities are great with Brisbane real estate still more reasonable than anywhere else.
