why was there an update to the proof of funds then? these revamps and updates are for no reason i guess
As pnp candidates who choose to be assessed by FSW criteria you’ll have to meet pof requirements. So pof is not only for FSW

So you all have no idea what you are talking about? Thats a shame. I thought some of you had informed opinions.
Lol you are expecting way too much from a public forum. If you want information with proof send emails/call/tweet to respective government agencies.

We are just guessing based on what is happening with other applicants. For FSW applications, there was a lot of activity up until May with re-meds, ADR's etc., absolutely nothing since then.

Right shame on these people to share their thoughts without researching the facts, after all you are paying them money to give you accurate information. Right?

The new immigration minister is young and rather inexperienced as a politician so maybe he is just a scapegoat for whatever will happen with the backlog and he will be blamed for everything and gets fired or something.
I researched a little bit about Marco. It looks like Marco was a Government's mouthpiece before becoming the minister and he made some noise in the Media seen, so was inducted as Minister. Immigration ministership is an entry-level job in the Canadian Cabinet. What Marco holds now is a serious job. Likewise, Sean too was seen active in the press scene taking questions for gov on Covid and looks like he did a decent job. So he was handed this entry-level job. Also, Nova Scotia is critical for Liberals where they lost to progressive Conservatives in the recent election. Moreover, Nova Scotia wants to immigrate record levels of Immigrants and Sean seems to be the right person.

Let's see, if we get PPR rain (hopefully) early next year, then Sean would be doing a pretty good job.

I am not paying anybody other then IRCC. Are you paying people on this forum? Is there some sort of patreon?

I am not expecting a PPR rain. But some sort of logic will be applied to making Immigration decisions.

Read this article:

https://www.thestar.com/news/canada...-inherits-backlogs-migrant-worker-issues.html

PR backlog is 562,000 applications and IRCC is currently focusing on PNP outland only despite having many FSW applications with approved status. What I don't understand is why are FSW's not getting PPR when every stage is passed and the application is approved? Maybe they will cancel all FSW applications and focus on PNP and CEC only. 562,000 is just an insanely big backlog.

lol, what happened to you? didn't expect negativity from a champion member like you. If they had to cancel out the applications then expired FSW applications would have also fallen into the criteria of cancellation and they also wouldn't have received any news. your question why they are not issuing ppr to fsw, the most logical thing is they can't issue PPR to all the expired and fswo together. It has to be done at a pace which will let Canada absorb it properly. End of october will see most expired copr to receive confirmation mail. november to receive their remed and by December they will receive PPR. After that from January all FSW whose files are approved will be seeing receiving remed and possibly my end Feb all fsw ll start receiving PPR. The logic says that.

If you are trying to be negative pls try to control yourself till feb end and after that talk about all these cancellation stuffs but for GODS SAKE NOT NOW !!!!!

LETS HAVE A LITTLE MORE FAITH ON OUR PATIENCE/SACRIFICE/HARD WORK and GOD !!!!!!!

indeed it's a midnight blessing to have the grains of hope that gives the will to live =D

Legalfalcon informed in his FB that once your app begins, the chance is really slim that they will cancel it without a decision, because an expectation was created, meaning it’s easier for a lawsuit. Unlike 2012, where anyone could apply, where the canceled apps hadn’t been started yet. Starting your application means having R10 passed.

How long is R10 nowadays? Shit's killing me already...
