Dear Members.

I have following queries and I would really appreciate if experienced members can guide me in this regard.

  1. I received PCC from one of the cities in Pakistan. They have mentioned the years duration only instead of proper dates for instance: 2012 to 2014 in xyz place. I asked them to change it as per the dates provided but they are saying this is the template they follow. My question is should I change it in any case or can I write LOE explaining that, considering that this would be my third PCC and I already have one for permanent address as per CNIC which is mentioning “to date” since my 18 birthday.
  2. I am currently in Saudi Arabia and they recently launched Police clearance certificate service through their online platform. My question is that should I use this Pcc for my ITA considering this certificate is valid for 1 month only, or should I wait for the facilitation letter from IRCC after the submission of my application as they have stated on their website.
Any guidance or help would be really appreciated as I am totally lost on these points.

Out of Topic... but .... all I can say is ...

Oh Canada!

Hey guys,

I've been stuck in background check without any ghost update since 18th of march. I've part of the STEM draw in dec of last year with AOR of 16th Jan. Is this normal? it feels like it's taking a long time and I see no end in sight. Is there anything I can do at all to know in what my situation is?

many thanks

You can't really do anything about it. You can contact your MP, at best they'll make an inquiry, but can't speed up IRCC. Also, you need to file GCMS/CBSA notes to understand if you are in enhanced security screening.

A very large number of people don't get ghost updates. So don't rely on them to see if your application is moving forward or not. Get your GCMS/CBSA notes or call IRCC to understand what substage of background check is your application stuck at.

Hello, Could i will be eligible for Federal Skilled Worker programme, working remotly out side of canada(not a canadian company) druning my PGWP while staying in canada. Please advice.

How is it going fellas

Its been good! weekly boat ride to vancouver and port angles. Butchart garden in full bloom. Shit is dope! Going to Tofino next weekend. Hope I do not run into a certain freeloader there. Did I mention moon lit boat ride in salish sea is great?

Oh and sitting along beach drinking sling is fun! I guess I mentioned before, I went to Niagra Falls. Falls is fun but reaching there is an exercise in frustration.

If you need to check your eligibility for FSW Program, check this :

and then this.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...election-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

Check if you meet the requirements. Once you meet the criteria to the program, you can apply to it via Express Entry processing system which periodically invites people eligible based on a ranking order of their CSR score in rounds of invitation.

For your work you did during your studies :

Student work experience
Work experience gained while you were studying may count towards your minimum requirements if the work:
