No. ATS will reject your resume automatically if you do so(most are configured to do so). Avoid listing the following on resume:
1. nationality
2. date of birth
3. full address
4. visa status
5. marital status

I've seen way too many resumes with all 5.

About your last question - you'll be asked if you need sponsorship or if you have a valid work status in Canada.

On your comment about searching jobs from abroad. Are companies even responding if you say you apply from abroad? There might be numerous immigrants applying even without WPs. As you are a PR wouldn't it be more prudent to just have a local Canadian mobile / VoIP and apply like a local without divulging where you are located abroad, You can inform the potential employer you are open for relocation unless you are particular about living in a city in Canada.

I would personally say not put immigration details in your resume/CV that you are PR or WP etc. As a hiring manager, I routinely see such comments about PR / OpenWP / and PGWP in CV profiles sometimes even in LinkenIn, and the applicants seem to think that not needing sponsorship is a great thing, but to me, it sounds silly as the profile might be read by much senior personnel also.

You can mention PR and not needing sponsorship in your introduction letter or email to the recruiter or in the application portal comments sections etc.. generally the recruiter's job is to prescreen all these details about applicants legal status and send them to the hiring managers.

Hmm, what if I am applying by sending emails and not through ATS? Should I put Canada PR in the emails?
About 3) for the full address, what should I put instead? Should I just put the city and postal code?
Such as Toronto, ON 123 RT2? I don't know what people do in Canada usually..

That is my concern. If I don't put PR, then they might not know that I don't need sponsorship. I have a local Canadian number that I keep active just for the number as I am overseas right now. Do they contact through the mobile phone? Hmmm, in my resume I still put that I am currently working for a company in my home country though, so they might know that I am overseas especially since I don't have any Canadian experience...

Yes, they do contact through phone. About showing a recruiter that you are in Canada:
1. Contact info(resume header) should have something like Toronto, ON - same for your Linkedin
2. Remove location information from your most recent work experience

If you are applying over emails, you can do so much better. I'd still not keep the sponsorship related info there. Focus on impact, write a good email that gets responses.

A recruiter spends 5-6 seconds on a resume, they won't read a lot of the details that you think they do. They quickly see your location, see relevant experience and if they like your resume, they read it more.

Putting my experience of job search from home country after I received CoPR, (did not have any prior Canadian experience) - most of what is already covered by @iSaidGoodDay and @Lord_Tony.

1. Removed location from all my jobs
2. No Canadian address at all on resume
3. Put Canadian number on resume (if possible). I did not put any
4. No status (PR/WP etc) on resume.

During HR screening, I was asked about my status in Canada. to which I clearly mentioned that I was granted PR and I will be travelling to Canada in couple of months. Try to avoid word "CoPR", most of the HRs arent aware of it ( I assume). Best luck with your job hunt.

1. Yes, Toronto, ON is enough. Postal codes can trigger discrimination(location based discrimination) so we have ATS configured to reject those candidates.
2. Do it for the most recent work experience, you can also mark it remote if you were remotely working.
3. Honestly, it is just not needing a LMIA and makes hiring very easy. When I interview, I've never asked any candidate about needing a work permit. It is usually the 2nd HR call where the HR asks the question to our candidates. In some companies they do ask in the first round itself if you've a valid work authorization in Canada.

Pollievre is too weak on immigration, Bernier is the only solution but his support is too low

Pollievre and his Shadow minister of immigration have already said that they will tie annual levels to housing, infrastructure, jobs, healthcare etc. Making Pollievre accountable for Trudeau’s mess is nonsense. There’s no reason why he should set numbers when he isn’t even the prime minister? Expecting an election platform or manifesto when the election is more than a year away is ridiculous. His job right now is to bark and hold Trudeau accountable.
 
According to Statistics Canada, there are 2.8 million temporary residents in Canada. However, I can see only around 224,000 applicants in the Express Entry pool. Does this mean that only 10% of the temporary residents are applying for permanent residency?

The 224k EE pool will include those who live abroad also. Also, a lot of temp residents use non-EE pathways to apply for PR.

Typically Canadians do not put any information about their status in Canada. PRs do the same. If HR asks, we clarify we are PR. To be very honest not needing immigration help is norm as most folks who apply for jobs are citizens.

Only jobs that need enhanced sec. clearance are the ones that are out of bounds for PR. But anyone recruiting for high security jobs will know what a PR is.

I know this thread is not directly related to PCC. However, I am in a tight situation and need your help regarding PCC.

I have been a resident of KSA for the past five years(Jan 2019), so getting PCC from KSA is not a problem.

The main concern for me is that I have lived in two cities Islamabad(Employment years June-2017 to Jan 2019) and Abbottabad (Studies - 4 Years March 2023 to Jan 2017) . Other than that my permanent address remained the same which is from Sialkot, and this is the same address that is being used for my passport.

Now the query is, would I need PCC from Islamabad and Abbottabad for the duration I stayed there, or would only one for the permanent address (Sialkot) suffice?

Any comments or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
