nah should come to visit the UK, it's beautiful, 95% of tourists only visit the cities of importance, I done trips alone to the vast lands of England and Scotland and it's amazing. Tourists just visit the london and it's not even 1% of UK, these tourists never saw the UK. it's cheap to get a rental car and drive around. Google is a helping hand with their maps. If you or pals ever wish to visit here look no further, use maps and internet search and don't just focus on london and dublin. I can share the locations of interests from my map data.
I visit the UK all the time lol. Yea, UK is nice. At least, I have had nice times in London, Edinburg and Cardiff. Coming in tomorrow as a matter of fact, will be staying in Oxford for about a week then, a quick trip to Pontypridd before heading back to base.

That’s quite a stretch, but deep down I wanna see JT and Co lose the majority again. So even if his party forms a minority gov with NDP’s support, we know someone will be watching him. A brutal majority is not good for a democracy.
Well said.

For anyone waiting for draws, it’s fine to have a plan B but I would say wait till September/October is over before deploying it. The chances of FSW draws holding anytime in these 2 months is very high but at the same time, the chances of FSW not remaining the same again is also almost certain if the draws don’t happen by then
Honestly, I would remain hopeful for FSW until they send 3000 invitation per draw :)

I got annoyed the way Ontario is choosing their CRS score. We have missed two or three draws because we had too many points haha :D
They should have a points sharing system. The candidates with too many points to use can donate excess to others who need the points to qualify for some immigration program. :)

Not sure if I'll ever become permanent in Canada but I sure will never forget the current government and their actions, and that how they treated us all like animals.
100% agree.
Now it's a matter of trust, and the trust that has been abused and violated.

Even if - unlikely - my applications gets approved, it is going to be a relationship that started with a broken promise. If Canada failed to fulfil its obligations so early in the game, how can I be sure it won't stop screwing me and my family if I land as an immigrant? How can I be sure that schools, healthcare, social services, utilities, transportation, taxes, citizenship process, anything and everything in this country isn't broken? How can I be sure Canada doesn't screw my family over and over again?

I am about to enter Canada with a work permit.

I wonder what would happen when I update IRCC of my whereabout.

Would my file get transfer from the local VO to an inland VO, or would it just stay in place?

Anyone have idea?
I think it wouldn't make much difference. Even I will be entering via Workpermit in 2 months (hopefully). In my case the file is at CPC Ottawa and I will be moving to BC. But, what I learnt is once you get your PR approved, your work permit will be automatically invalidated.

Or have an option to hide some points in order to be in the band of OINP draws. Dynamic allocation of points based on the requirements would be great.

We’ve been delaying so many things, including planning to have our first child (this is really sad an ridiculous, i know)
If fsw draws don’t resume in September i guess we need to deploy plan B (which we don’t have yet) and forget about immigration to canada
Also, i dont understand what is so secretive about fsw draws resuming, ircc could have given some sort of a timeline.. i am sure there are a lot of young individuals and couples like us, trying to plan a lot of important things around this immigration…
Story of my life :(
