nah should come to visit the UK, it's beautiful, 95% of tourists only visit the cities of importance, I done trips alone to the vast lands of England and Scotland and it's amazing. Tourists just visit the london and it's not even 1% of UK, these tourists never saw the UK. it's cheap to get a rental car and drive around. Google is a helping hand with their maps. If you or pals ever wish to visit here look no further, use maps and internet search and don't just focus on london and dublin. I can share the locations of interests from my map data.
I agree there. Lots of places to explore outside of the big cities. @dankboi Which rental car service do you use?

i dont use rentals since i have my own. i mentioned it regarding the tourists. there's a lot of rentals here. local rentals are cheaper than the big companies.
What would be the best place to stay for like 2 weeks and work from home? :D

IRCC is strictly Focusing on Afghanistan and other urgent cases

If anyone is looking to try and reach IRCC i suggest you wait a month or so.
Sent a letter to my local MP, asking for help with my lost/stuck initial PR card.

Got a following response from them:

As we are currently in an election, we are limited in any action or inquiries on casework until after the election on September 20th.
Today the Minister of IRCC notified all MP offices:
'we are currently focusing only on priority enquiries related to the situation in Afghanistan, high profile or sensitive cases and urgent processing requests due to funeral or serious illness."
Until this matter is resolved, IRCC will not be responding to any enquiries outside of the above priorities.
Didn't think this had been shared here. If this holds up, I imagine if it makes it unlikely for any changes to FSW backlogs after borders (may) ease up around Sept 7.

The way I understand it is. The priority is only for enquiries. It doesn't say anything about PR processing. They always have a separate Refugee category. They must be taking care of visa's for refugees.

I don't know if I should wait another couple of years for FSW draws to resume or enroll in a 2 year study program today and apply under CEC later
It seems all the years of hard work spent in bringing up the CRS went to waste.
Do what you have to do
