Whats this talk about a Municipal Nominee Program? anyone has any idea?
From what I gather, it's a stricter PNP. Example in PNP if Ontario nominated you, you can only live in Ontario and no where else without risking penalties. In the MNP if Toronto nominated you, you can only live in Toronto.

My guess though is that municipalities participating in this new program, would be those in the middle of nowhere and less likely to be selected by immigrants in the first place.

Given how many are moving to other parts of Canada (relatively low, but in absolute terms a considerable number), immigrants will pick this option if they've no other way to move in. I'm planning a road trip trans Canada and damn, so many places are just out of nowhere. I mean it is absolutely middle of nowhere.

Another day, another shooting in the good old USA. 3 elementary school kids killed in their school :(. Aren’t we all glad we are applying for PR in Canada?
A friend was working for Google, he left US after the concert he attended with his kid had a shootout. He said "I wouldn't want my kid to become another statistic". Not the case for everyone and people love staying there, I guess it depends on what kind of broken works for you. For some it is the kind of broken that works for them, for some of us it is a total no-go.

Reading MajorGrom's post on getting worse due to lack of healthcare in Canada was scary too. I'm going to keep my Indian insurance up as I hear stories from friends who are waiting 1.5 years for a minor knee surgery.

I lived in the UK for 2.5 years and I have 2 addresses I lived there but they had no legal rent agreements or any other form of legal paperwork and they were just word of mouth dealings and paid rent in cash so should I mention these addresses in the list of addresses in the UK PCC form? Or just mention my permanent and current address of my home country?

Yes mention them, ACRO can assess it through your date of birth and can verify with bank details. Very low chance bit possible.

just wait when it starts in Canada, every couple of weeks I hear news of shooting in GTA. And not to mention random stabbings in TTC.
Canada is on its way to be like US in my opinion

And this was a private school. I wonder where is the guy who said a few days ago that there are no shootings in American private schools. Yeah, the same guy who plans to move south and become the next Elon Musk, LOL.

Hello all,

I have taken a business administration certificate from Mcmaster part-time, remotely from September 2020 to April 2021, which is two terms for 8
months.
The certificate is 15 credit hours.
What should I put in the "level of education" for this certificate? I currently put it as "One-year program at a university, college, trade, or technical school, or other institute".
However, I completed this program in 8 months, so I am not sure whether it will be eligible as a one-year program.
Is the certificate eligible for "One-year program at a university, college, trade, or technical school, or other institute" level of education? Or should I select something else?
Do I need to put LOE to explain this?

I want to claim "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees." (with my bachelor's degree) and Canadian education points (since it is conducted remotely during COVID, per new measure I am eligible for Canadian education points) for this certificate.
