Here is part of the email I received...

"You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC (National Occupational Classification) code: 4151 - PSYCHOLOGIST. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the Instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.

After taking into consideration the work experience supporting documentation on file, I am not satisfied that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of 4151. As such, I am not satisfied that you are a PSYCHOLOGIST - 4151."

Hi everyone… Yesterday we attended the Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) of IOM and my husband and I found it quite helpful. Our Facilitator was a French-Canadian named Serge Bisson and masaya ang class kasi very animated sya magdiscuss…

This COA is optional yet it is still highly recommended that we all take it. The orientation topics were about Geography, Preparing for Arrival sa Immigration, Housing, Wages, Taxes, Finding a Job, Education, Preparing for the Four Seasons esp Winter, Healthcare, Children’s Benefits, Government, Social Culture, dealing with Culture Shock, etc. A representative from BPI also came to discuss how we can bring money to Canada with a demand draft that clears just 10days when transferred to Bank of Nova Scotia.

Marami information and what’s good is at the end of the class, they will give a book containing all that was discussed. May mga kasama din flyers and sample forms that we will need to prepare before we leave. Meron din isang malaking booklet of websites that they suggest we visit to help us prepare and for more info about Canada.

They hold classes 3x a week, 8am-5pm. Be very punctual dahil the facilitator will start promptly at 8. Don’t forget to bring your orig MR when you register 

Thanks Westpoint! Na-appreciate ko po time mo... tumawag na kc ako sa bank... (HSBC) it is not possible daw, ang mangyayari daw is iclose namin acct ko and re-open a new one...

So it really means na I have to re-open a new one and we cannot submit my bank account/s as her proof of funds? I'll be an accompanying common-law partner... hnd ko kc tlga alm if pwd un... huhuhu...

If hnd kc pwd expedite ung check, and ung documents ko, hnd ko alam if aabot ako sa deadline ng June...

Come July, new list of NOC nb ulit? possible mawala ang existing NOCs?

file transfer from CIO, Nova Scotia to Manila VO or what is commonly called as 2nd aor.. on the current timeline, VO will give you notice after 20-24 days of PER.. GOODLUCK..

i took the GEneral ielts din nung feb 12..nagtataka nga ako kase nareceive nila nang March 7 yung result ko tas March 17 pa sinend yung PER ko (2nd). Unlike yung isang applicant sa kabilang thread na march 7 din na receive yung results nya tas March 9 nya na receive PER nya..

2nd AOR na wait mo from Canadian embassy Manila..probably next week..
