As regards to medicals, for medical na kami on April 11, 2011.

May mga questions re preparation before the medicals. Naging lesson na kc sa family ko ang previous experience namin sa Australian dependent visa application nila in 2003. May nakitang scar sa xray sa husband ko. Based sa sputum test at ppd, wala syang TB. pero pinagamot sya ng 3 months ng australia medical doctor. at ang tagal nila magdesisyon sa dependant visa application ng husband and kids ko until nagdecide ako na wag na magpush through sa application dahil pauwi na rin ako ng pinas.

For our medical this coming April 11, 2011, madaming preparation na ginagawa namin. Last year may nakitang mga sakit ang husband ko eto po lahat hehe, madami po:
1. uncontrolled diabetes
2. uncontrolled hypertension
3. kidney stones
4. urinary bladder stones
5. enlargement of the heart due to hypertension
6. obese I
7. dyslipidemia (mataas ang cholesterol)
8. previous scar sa xray
Ang dami po ano? anyway, naging controlled na hypertension at diabetes (hopefully by april) since december 2010 after hospitalization/confinement and taking 9 meds and still taking them. tutok na tutok po ang mga doctors sa kanya kasi sinabi namin na for medical na kami sa canada. Nagpatanggal na rin sya ng urinary bladder stones last week of february 2011 at tomorrow shock wave naman, haay. ang dami pong pinagdaanan ng husband ko. Pero sana with God's help maging ok ang resutl ng medical namin. On my part, i had breast ultrasound at urinalysis next week pati kids ko magpa-urinalysis na rin.

goodluck on ur upcoming med this april, sana okay na laht ng dapat maayos k mr, and sana ok din kayo ng kids niyo, clear lahat ;D

medyo nalilito pa ako, sabi nila huwag kay timbol kc mahigpit daw madaming additional tests. sa Nationwide nman matagal daw umabot ng 2 weeks bago masubmit sa embassy. sa St lukes nman mabilis ang result, mahigpit at di mo ma-followup ang result at amdiming clients kc pati US applicants sa kanila nagpapamedical. Pinagdarasal ko na lang sana mapunta kami sa hindi kami pahihirapan. Pero sa condition ng asawa ko parang medyo mahihirapan nga kami kahit anung clinic pa ito hehehe

>......Well, as for your situation..I suggest po nationwide, Makati City..I've heard maraming pumapasa pag nagpapamedical dun kahit medyo matagal ang submission sa embassy..as for me, doon din ako nagpamedical last year and now I'm just waiting for my passport w/ visa..Good luck po..and God bless sa atin lahat!

Hello! ;D I cannot confirm if its bad news or just a glitch from ecas but from what I have read sa threads dito, if you get a "DM" before your medical then it could probably mean that your application was denied. Magka timeline tayo but when I checked my ecas status it says, RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE" and inside it was,

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 22, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
